Stephen Lewis

I am a Senior Solicitor with nearly 18 years’ post qualified experience in clinical negligence work. I joined Medical Law Partnership (MLP) in December 2025 having previously worked at law firms on the Wirral and in Liverpool who specialise in clinical negligence.  This included heading up my own team and having the Law Society’s Clinical Negligence Accreditation for a number of years.

I am passionate about my work and strive to get the best possible outcome for my clients, despite the obstacles and challenges that are often encountered during investigations.  I offer support to my clients along the way in helping them to move on with their lives.

I am looking forward to contributing to the growth, reputation and success of MLP in representing clients who have been injured or harmed as a result clinical negligence.

Experience

Throughout my career, I have acquired a wealth of knowledge and expertise in dealing with a wide range of clinical negligence work including birth injury, obstetric and neo-natal management, brain injury, spinal surgery, surgical errors, general practice, delayed diagnosis and misdiagnosis, gynaecology, oncology, fatal claims, medication errors and orthopaedic, cosmetic and psychiatric claims.
